On June 29 there is a special day for the Dutch veterans, not only for the older veterans, but also for the (quickly growing) younger generation veterans. In the Netherlands there are more then 140.000 veterans, 95.000 "old" veterans, who served in WW II and de-colonization wars in Indonesia and New-Guinea and 45.000 younger veterans, who served in Libanon, Korea, Bosnia, Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan.
